内容

Klein Dytham architecture designed the architecture, interiors, and public spaces and installations which attract a number of people's interests like Daikanyama T-Site (opened in 2011), Google Japan's office with unique facilities, etc. Besides architecture and design, they also devised PechaKucha Night, an event for creatives to meet, network and show their work in public, which has now been spread to over 750 cities worldwide. Keyword is 'Unique' in their activities. In this session, they will share their ideas which make us inspired.

Klein Dytham architecture (KDa) is a multi-disciplinary design practice active in the design of architecture, interiors and installations. Established by Royal College of Art graduates Mark Dytham and Astrid Klein in Tokyo. The Japanese thirst for the new, sensitivity to material and detail in crafting, and an ever-changing urban environment nourish KDa’s ideas and production. Their client list includes Google, Tsutaya, Sony, Virgin Atlantic, Nike, Uniqlo and Vertu. Klein Dytham co-founded SuperDeluxe, a creative art space in the centre of Tokyo, which is the birth place of PechaKucha Night. A show-and-tell evening where each presentation is 20 slides x 20 seconds. The idea has taken the world by storm with PechaKucha Nights taking place in over 750 cities around the world.
